Incumbent will play a crucial role in customer acquisition as well as increasing share of business in existing customers. He/She will be responsible for building business relationship with customer, understand the requirement and drive order conversions. This role involves working jointly with on ground sales teams and drive mutually beneficial business outcome. Consultative selling and understanding of steel industry is a must have. The role is individual contributor in nature and involves heavy internal and external stakeholder management. # of positions: Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Ghaziabad

Who can apply:
• Master's degree from a premier institute preferably in sales, marketing or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in a business development role
• Proficiency in making sales pitch, consultative selling and driving leads to conversion
• Knowledge of steel industry products and best practices in sales
• Willingness to travel across the region for customer visits
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with MS excel, sales plan creation and reporting
• Flexibility in switching from strategic to tactical and operational levels of thinking and working, specifically in strategy deployment
• Must have tolerance for a complex, ever-changing and dynamic work environment
• Ability to demonstrate good decision making in ambiguous circumstance
