Reports to: Manager, GSRA, ASEAN & APAC Texture

Make a difference by enabling compliant product development, registration, commercialization, and market access across Thailand and ASEAN through practical regulatory expertise and strong stakeholder partnership.

As a Senior Specialist, GSRA, ASEAN, you will ensure regulatory compliance across food and selected non-food platforms in line with Thailand and ASEAN requirements. You will support product registration, regulatory assessments, documentation, and market access while partnering with internal teams and serving as a key contact for regulatory authorities, laboratories, certification bodies, and industry associations.

What you will do:

• Manage Thai FDA submissions - Prepare, compile, submit, and follow up regulatory dossiers, licenses, and product registration documentation within agreed business timelines.

• Support ASEAN market access - Prepare documentation and assist with authorization and product registration applications across ASEAN markets.

• Assess product compliance - Review ingredients, additives, processing aids, formulations, processes, labels, and claims against Thai, ASEAN, and international requirements.

• Guide product development - Provide clear regulatory advice during product development, reformulation, commercialization, and customer support activities.

• Monitor regulatory changes - Interpret regulatory updates, assess business impact, and communicate practical guidance to local, regional, and global stakeholders.

• Represent Ingredion externally - Build effective relationships with the Thai FDA, provincial authorities, laboratories, certification bodies, industry associations, and other agencies.

• Collaborate across functions - Partner with Technical Development, Quality, Sales, Go-To-Market, Technical Services, Procurement, Logistics, Operations, and Customer Service to resolve regulatory matters and facilitate clearance processes.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related science-based discipline.

• 3-5 years of experience in Scientific and Regulatory Affairs, preferably within the food industry or a multinational organization.

• Strong knowledge of Thai and international food regulations and standards, including Thai FDA, ASEAN, Codex, JECFA, and FCC.

• Experience in product registration, regulatory submissions, and compliance assessment for food ingredients or finished products.

• Good command of English, with strong regulatory documentation, analytical, and Microsoft Office skills.
