We are looking for a Senior System & Network Administrator who is responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and continuously improving the company's IT systems and network infrastructure in support of the KZC global requirements. This role ensures the infrastructure availability, security, and performance of systems critical to design production, project delivery, and cross-functional collaboration.
The position provides senior-level technical oversight for servers, networks, cloud platforms, and business-critical applications used across design studios and regional offices. The Senior System & Network Administrator works closely with internal teams and external service providers to ensure compliance with company IT policies, data security requirements, and applicable quality management standards, while supporting scalable and reliable IT operations aligned with business demands.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure & Operations
- Windows Server & Directory Services: Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS) across parent–child domains. Manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, DHCP, and related directory services to ensure seamless authentication, access control, and network resource availability.
- Virtualization & Server Management: Oversee on-premises virtualization platforms (Hyper- V/VMware), ensuring optimal performance, health monitoring, patching, and backup of virtual machines. Implement capacity planning and proactive maintenance to support project-critical applications and design software.
- Network Infrastructure: Maintain core network components, including managed switches, wireless access points, VLANs, and IP addressing schemes. Ensure network reliability, segmentation, and availability across offices and project sites.
- Shared Storage & Data Management: Assist with Synology and QNAP shared storage systems, including RAID health monitoring, data integrity checks, and periodic housekeeping to maintain optimal storage performance and security.
Firewall & Network Security
- Firewall Management: Support the configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of FortiGate firewalls, including policy management, VPN setup, routing, and threat monitoring to safeguard organizational data and project assets.
- Multi-Site Connectivity: Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting multi-site IPSec VPN connections under guidance from the IT Manager, ensuring secure, reliable communication between offices and project locations.
Monitoring & Documentation
- System Monitoring: Perform routine health audits and performance monitoring using tools such as Atera RMM to proactively identify and resolve system or network issues.
- Documentation & SOPs: Maintain accurate documentation of system and network configurations, incident reports, standard operating procedures, and IT asset inventories to support continuity, compliance, and ISO 9001 & ISO 27001 traceability as per the ITIL standards.
- Monthly Reporting: Prepare monthly activity reports and submit them to ITM on or 25th of the current month.
IT Support & Operations
- L2/L3 Support: Primarily provide Level 2 and Level 3 backend IT support to the PHL office and Support Dubai HQ and remote branches, particularly when local IT resources are unavailable or as assigned by ITM.
- ATERA: Support Atera operations, including PC health monitoring, patch management, remote connections, and verification of data correctness.
- Incident Response: Respond to escalated system or network issues in line with IT policies, ensuring minimal downtime and project impact.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in IT Support within interior design, architecture, or related industries.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience managing network infrastructure, including firewalls, VLANs, Wi-Fi networks, and IP addressing.
- Proven track record supporting project-based software platforms (e.g., AUTODESK products, ADOBE, RMM (Atera, ManageEngine, SolarWinds etc,) applications, project management systems, Data Sync) in a multi-user environment.
- Experience in data security, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance frameworks, ideally ISO 9001 & 27001 with ITIL aligned.
