We are seeking an experienced Senior Team Lead, Inventory & Operations to supervise shift operations and support inventory control and business operations within a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise shift operations to ensure delivery timelines, service level agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved.
- Support start-ups, volume ramp-ups, process changes, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and hyper-care activities.
- Manage inventory control activities, including cycle counts, stock audits, reconciliations, and inventory accuracy monitoring.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and variances to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage aged inventory, stock status control, damaged inventory handling, and inventory disposition processes.
- Prepare and communicate inventory findings and reports to customers and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure WMS inventory records accurately reflect physical stock and comply with inventory control procedures.
- Act as the WMS Super User to maintain data quality, resolve interface issues, and support system enhancements.
- Perform complex WMS transactions, including inventory reversals, manual allocations, and cycle count adjustments with appropriate documentation.
- Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) with proper version control.
- Support Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency and inventory control processes.
- Coordinate day-to-day business support activities and assist with operational system improvements.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in contract logistics, inventory control, or operational business support.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, stock control, and inventory reconciliation practices.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query and macros experienced in navigating ERP and WMS Platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Exposure to Lean, Kaizen, or basic continuous improvement methodologies will be advantageous.
