Service Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a customer-focused and technically competent Service Engineer to commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair laboratory or industrial equipment at customer sites. The successful candidate will work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver excellent after-sales support, ensuring high equipment reliability and customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive range of technical after-sales service support, installation, commissioning and repair plus preventive maintenance plans for laboratory/research/analytical equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance, servicing, and calibration
• Diagnose technical issues and provide timely corrective solutions
• Liaise with the principals on technical issues, spare parts, and warranty matters
• Provide technical consultation to customers
• Respond to customers requests by troubleshooting problems and taking corrective actions within targeted timeline
• Prepare service reports and maintain accurate service records

REQUIREMENTS

• ITE/Higher NITEC/Diploma/Bachelor in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant technical work experience in service, maintenance, and commissioning
• Ideally process experience in similar industry (Scientific / Biopharmaceutical)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and a team player
• Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with good business acumen
• Valid Class 3 driving license and personal vehicle will be an added advantage
