We are looking for a Service Engineer who enjoys working in the field, supporting customers, commissioning equipment, and being part of a global service team that keeps mills running safely and efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Providing technical services such as maintenance and troubleshooting of the existing installed base per agreement.
  • Participating in project and schedule maintenance implementation, installation supervision, commissioning, start-up and documentation.
  • Preparing and providing training for our customers if needed.
  • Supporting service sales to help us achieve annual budgetary targets.
  • May manage technician.
  • May plan the small-scale project.
  • Comply with customers and Valmet HSE rules.
  • Perform according to Quality, Safety, Environmental and other company's management system, policies, practices and instructions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Pulp & paper) or related field.
  • At least 3 years work experience in a relevant field and prior experience in paper making process but welcome new graduates as well.
  • Fluent spoken and written English/Thai. Can communicate in Thai with Thai customers fluently.
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Willingness to travel in Thailand and abroad.
  • Driver's license and car is a must.
  • Willing to learn and expose to new challenges with good cooperation, positive attitude and good interpersonal skills.
  • Result oriented mindset and self-accountability.
