Job Description

• Oversee financial planning activities, including annual budgets, forecasts, and business performance reviews across multiple APAC countries.
• Serve as a trusted finance partner to regional leadership teams, providing commercial insights and supporting key business decisions.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and robust internal control frameworks.
• Lead initiatives to streamline finance operations, enhance reporting capabilities, and improve processes within the shared services environment.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and support governance, compliance, treasury, and risk management activities across the region.
• Deliver meaningful financial analysis, KPI reporting, and management dashboards to support strategic planning and performance improvement.
• Support system enhancement projects and drive the effective utilisation of ERP and reporting tools.
  
  

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Shared Service Finance Manager Should Have

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is essential.
• Solid experience in finance and accounting leadership roles within multinational organisations.
• Background in audit firms combined with corporate finance experience is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated success managing shared services or regional finance functions across the Asia Pacific region.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, financial consolidation, group reporting, and statutory compliance.
• Familiarity with treasury operations, cash flow management, and financial governance practices.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning systems.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into business recommendations.
• Proven stakeholder management and leadership capabilities, with the confidence to engage senior executives.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
