COMMENTS FROM THE COMPANY
- The company is a pure ship-owning company primarily engaged in long-term Time Charter business. Candidates will generally not be involved in Voyage Charter business or spot freight market trading, which applicants should consider before applying.
- Our charterers include leading global companies in industries such as oil and grain trading as well as some of the world's largest shipping operators. This contributes to a stable business environment and allows employees to work in a relatively steady operating environment.
- Similar to other shipping companies, the role may occasionally require availability outside normal working hours.
- Technical managers for assigned vessels are located in Singapore, the Philippines, and India. Therefore, communication across different time zones may occasionally be required. However, in Singapore, face-to-face communication with technical managers is possible when necessary.
- Basic accounting and finance knowledge is preferable for performing shipowner-related duties. The company welcomes candidates who are willing to expand their expertise into these areas, and opportunities will be provided to develop both business and technical shipping knowledge.
- Candidates with experience in large-scale investment projects such as real estate, plant facilities, heavy machinery, loan arrangements, or derivatives transactions may find their experience highly relevant and valuable in this role while developing shipping industry expertise.
