Site Engineer cum PE Assignee

Job Description

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant authorities on technical and site matters.
• Monitor construction progress, quality and compliance with safety requirements.
• Review drawings, method statements, risk assessments and technical submissions.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate testing, inspection and commissioning activities.
• Identify and resolve technical issues in coordination with the project team and consultants.
• Prepare site reports, progress updates and other relevant engineering documentation.
• Assist the Professional Engineer (PE) and undertake duties as the PE Assignee in accordance with project and regulatory requirements.
• Attend site and technical coordination meetings as required.
• Perform other duties assigned by the superior/ Construction Manager/ Project Manager.

Job Requirement

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in civil/infrastructure construction projects.
• Registered Resident Engineer (RE) certified with valid registration under the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES).
• Experience in LTA, MRT, railway, road, or other major infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Singapore construction practices and statutory requirements.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
• Able to start immediately or within a short notice period will be an advantage.
