Site Supervisor and Safety Officer

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily construction activities to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, schedules and quality requirements.

• Enforce safety rules, PPE requirements, work permits and safety work procedures, especially for high-voltage electrical and construction activities.

• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety briefings for workers and subcontractors.

• Identify unsafe conditions or practices, implement corrective actions and prepare incident, inspection and safety reports.

• Coordinate with the Project Manager Electrical Engineers, contractors, and client representatives regarding construction progress, safety issues and site requirements.

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office: especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Professional Engineering License.

• Safety Officer certificate or Professional Safety License will be an advantage.

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in construction site supervision and occupational health and safety, preferably in electrical substation, high-voltage or utility projects.

• Strong knowledge of construction safety practices, electrical safety, work permits, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and emergency response procedures.

• Familiarity with safety regulations, site safety standards, and relevant legal requirements.

• Ability to supervise daily site activities and ensure that all personnel comply with safety rules, work procedures and PPE requirements.

• Ability to conduct site inspections, identify unsafety coordination or practices and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

• Capable of preparing safety reports, incident reports, inspections records, work permits and other project documentation.
