Manage Purchase Orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
Handle multiple purchasing requirements concurrently and prioritise work according to project requirements, delivery dates and urgency
Identify potential suppliers, conduct supplier qualifications and evaluations activities.
Identify potential cost-saving opportunities through competitive sourcing, quotation comparison, supplier negotiation and alternative sourcing
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as Project, Finance and Operations, to align procurement activities with business requirements
Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies to optimize sourcing processes
Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures and applicable regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and supplier information and preparing reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance and cost savings
Execute cost saving initiatives and process improvement

Job Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management / Engineering background
2-3 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing or procurement within a Direct and/or Indirect procurement environment. Experience in the DCS, engineering or industrial sector will be an advantage
Results-oriented, self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
Experience in engineering, manufacturing, EPC, project-based or industrial procurement will be an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI being an advantage
Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders
