Sourcing & Production Associate

Job Overview:

Executes standard sourcing and production projects with existing suppliers and techniques - mainly Jewelry restock and BAU collections, plus Packaging and Accessories restock - and supports quality through lab testing and technical documentation.

Job Description

1. Product Development

• Coordinate sample development with Designers and factories
• Resolve issues between Designers and factories
  
  

2. Pricing & Purchasing

• Request quotations and negotiate pricing with factories
• Open POs for sample and bulk orders
• Send PI to Accounting and follow up payments
  
  

3. Timeline & Delivery

• Manage factory schedules to meet agreed timelines
• Prepare import documents and coordinate customs clearance
• Coordinate with Warehouse until quantities are confirmed
  
  

4. Quality & Lab Test

• Coordinate lab tests (plating thickness, Nickel-free) and keep test reports
• Maintain Technical Spec / Annex documents
• Collect initial defect information for Manager
  
  

6. Supplier Scouting

• Search and screen new factories against set criteria
• Propose shortlist to Manager for final selection
  
  

7. Reporting & Data

• Maintain Restock and Product Launch Files
• Provide tracking, defect and cost data to Manager
  
  

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in sourcing, production or merchandising (jewelry / accessories preferred)
• Experience with overseas (China) suppliers, PO and import documents
• Good English; Chinese is a plus
• Strong follow-up, detail-oriented, Excel / Google Sheets
