About The Team

We are looking for a highly driven and analytical Special Projects – AI & Automation professional to lead AI-driven transformation across Shopee Express (SPX) operations.

This role will focus on identifying opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and advanced analytics to improve operational efficiency, optimize costs, enhance productivity, and drive scalable solutions across logistics operations, including First Mile, Sorting Centers, Linehaul, and Last Mile.

Job Description

• Identify and prioritize AI and automation opportunities across SPX operations, translating operational challenges into high-impact business solutions.
• Lead end-to-end AI transformation projects, from business case development and solution design to pilot testing, implementation, and nationwide scaling.
• Leverage AI, predictive analytics, and automation to improve manpower planning, parcel forecasting, route optimization, sorting productivity, and overall cost efficiency.
• Partner closely with Operations, Technology, Product, Data Analytics, and Regional teams to translate business requirements into practical AI-powered solutions.
• Establish project KPIs, evaluate ROI, measure operational improvements, and continuously refine AI solutions to deliver measurable business outcomes.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related fields.
• 3–7 years of experience in Strategy, Project Management, Business Transformation, Operations Excellence, Consulting, or related functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business challenges into actionable solutions.
• Experience in AI-related projects, automation, advanced analytics, or digital transformation is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with AI applications, machine learning concepts, or data analytics tools is an advantage.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience driving cross-functional projects.
• Experience in logistics, e-commerce, technology, or management consulting is a plus.
