Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Technical

Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain all PLC-controlled processes on the automatic plating line (Siemens, Mitsubishi, or equivalent).
Diagnose and resolve faults in variable-speed drives (VFD/Inverters) for conveyor, hoist, and pump motors.
Maintain, calibrate, and replace industrial sensors — proximity, temperature, level, flow, and encoder types.
Operate and manage SCADA/HMI interfaces; update PLC programs and parameters as required.
Coordinate with equipment vendors and system integrators for upgrades, spare parts, and technical support

Maintenance

Develop and execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans for all automated equipment on the plating line.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
Manage spare parts inventory and ensure critical components are always available.
Prepare maintenance reports, downtime analysis, and KPI dashboards for management review.

Technical Skill Requirements

PLC programming & troubleshooting — Siemens TIA Portal / STEP 7, Mitsubishi GX Works, or equivalent.
AC/DC Variable Frequency Drives — Siemens, Yaskawa, Mitsubishi, ABB, or equivalent brands.
Industrial sensor types: proximity, photoelectric, temperature, level, and flow sensors.
HMI / SCADA operation and basic configuration (Weintek, Siemens, Proface, or similar).
Motor control circuits — DOL, Star-Delta, and VFD-driven systems.
DC Rectifier systems used in electroplating processes is a strong advantage.
Basic pneumatic/hydraulic knowledge for plating conveyors and hoist systems.
