Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) | PCB Manufacturing

About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading international PCB manufacturer in Thailand to identify an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to join their quality team.

This role will focus on supplier quality management, incoming material quality control, supplier audits, outsourced process management, and continuous quality improvement initiatives to ensure materials and outsourced processes meet manufacturing and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Supplier & Subcontractor Quality Management

• Manage incoming material quality inspection activities and inspection equipment.
• Investigate and resolve material quality issues with suppliers.
• Conduct supplier audits and support supplier qualification processes.
• Monitor supplier quality performance and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage supplier quality exceptions and improvement programs.
• Evaluate and manage subcontractors for outsourced manufacturing processes.
• Perform subcontractor audits and monitor compliance with quality standards.
• Handle subcontractor quality issues and coordinate improvement actions.
• Conduct regular supplier and subcontractor performance evaluations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Materials Science, or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) experience involving raw materials.
• Experience within PCB manufacturing, PCB materials, copper clad laminate, chemicals, plating, laminate, electronics materials, or upstream manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
• Familiar with supplier audits, quality tools, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Able to work effectively with suppliers, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams.
