Role Purpose
The Senior Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for ensuring compliance with customer, internal, and industry quality requirements across the full FPC manufacturing process. The role focuses on audit execution, risk prevention, corrective action management, and continuous quality improvement, while acting as a key interface between manufacturing teams and end customers.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Compliance & Customer Audits
- Plan and execute quality and process audits in line with customer requirements, internal operating procedures, and relevant international standards.
- Detect compliance gaps and potential quality exposure, and communicate observations clearly to internal teams and customer stakeholders.
Process Monitoring & Preventive Control
- Carry out routine and unannounced audits on critical production stages and highrisk processes.
- Identify early signs of quality issues and work with crossfunctional teams to mitigate risks before escalation.
Corrective & Preventive Action Oversight
- Monitor the progress of root cause investigations and corrective / preventive action plans arising from quality findings.
- Assess the effectiveness of implemented actions to ensure issues are fully resolved and not repeated.
Manufacturing Process & Support Function Review
- Evaluate the complete FPCA production flow, covering material receiving, manufacturing stages, inspection points, and product release.
- Review supporting functions such as equipment maintenance programs, staff certification and training records, warehouse practices, laboratory controls, and testing activities.
- Validate compliance through both onsite verification and systembased record checks.
Outgoing Quality Verification
- Conduct sample inspections on finished PCB products after outgoing quality control to confirm conformance with customer specifications and industry guidelines.
Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
- Prepare structured audit summaries on a daily basis, outlining scope, findings, severity levels, risk impact, and recommended followup actions.
- Maintain open communication with manufacturing teams and customers to support corrective actions, drive alignment, and promote continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
- Must be legally eligible to work in Thailand.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer in the electrical or electronics manufacturing industry.
- Handson experience with Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC) products is required.
- Good command of English both written and spoken.
- Willing to work onsite in Nong Yai District, Chonburi Province.
