Supply Chain Director

About the role

As the Supply Chain Director at VENINE CABLE ELECTRIC WIRE COMPANY LIMITED, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's end-to-end supply chain operations. This full-time position is based in Lad Bua Luang, Ayutthaya, and will involve managing the procurement and inventory management functions to ensure the efficient and cost-effective delivery of products to our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing strategic supply chain initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction
• Overseeing the procurement of raw materials, components, and finished goods to meet production and sales demands
• Managing inventory levels and optimising warehouse operations to minimise stockouts and excess inventory

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as production and sales, to align supply chain processes with the overall business strategy

• Analysing supply chain data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions
• Implementing and managing supply chain automation and technology solutions to streamline processes
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
• Leading and developing a high-performing supply chain team

What we're looking for

• Minimum 8 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics industry
• Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, and logistics best practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions
• Proficient in the use of supply chain management software and data analysis tools
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience in leading and developing a high-performing supply chain team
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry standards in the manufacturing and logistics sectors
