Job Description: Supply Chain & Purchasing Director

Job Purpose
To lead and transform the end-to-end supply chain and procurement functions. This role is responsible for strategic sourcing of raw materials and coffee equipment, optimizing manufacturing supply chains, and streamlining logistics/warehousing to support Aroma Group's multi-channel distribution (Retail, HORECA, and Franchise).
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Sourcing & Procurement
- Develop and execute global and local sourcing strategies for green coffee beans, tea, ingredients, and world-class coffee machines.
- Lead high-level negotiations with international principals and local suppliers to ensure the best total cost of ownership (TCO) and quality standards.
- Implement Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs to ensure supply continuity and innovation.
2. Supply Chain Optimization & SAP Governance
- Oversee the entire supply chain workflow within SAP, ensuring data integrity across Material Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP).
- Implement advanced demand planning and forecasting models to balance inventory levels with sales requirements, reducing stock-outs and overstock.
3. Warehouse & Logistics Management
- Direct the operations of central warehouses and distribution centers, ensuring efficient storage and handling of both perishable goods (beans) and high-value equipment (machines).
- Optimize the logistics network to improve delivery lead times to branches and B2B customers while reducing transportation costs.
4. Cost Leadership & Financial Integration
- Partner with the Director of Finance to manage the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and improve the group's overall margin.
- Drive Lean or Six Sigma initiatives to eliminate waste in the supply chain and manufacturing processes.
5. Leadership & Team Transformation
- Manage and mentor a multi-disciplinary team across Purchasing, Planning, Warehousing, and Logistics.
- Standardize Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance, transparency, and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years in Supply Chain and Procurement, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role.
- Industry: Experience in F&B, FMCG, or Manufacturing is mandatory. Knowledge of coffee or food processing is a huge plus.
- SAP Expertise: Strong command of SAP is essential. You must understand how supply chain data flows through the entire ERP system.
- Skills: Expert negotiation, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage complex logistics networks.
- Language: Professional fluency in English (for international procurement and principal management).
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Cost Savings: Percentage reduction in procurement and logistics costs.
- Inventory Accuracy: Minimizing variance between SAP records and physical stock.
- Order Fulfillment Rate: Ensuring 100% on-time and in-full (OTIF) delivery to customers and branches.
- Supplier Performance: Quality and reliability scores of key vendors.
