POSITION OVERVIEW

This Supply Chain Specialist reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager KST.

The primary responsibility for this position includes:

To build efficient Supply Chain process in SEA to support business in South East Asia

1. To optimize business and profitability in SEA by creatively using supply chain knowledge

2. To manage customer service function to ensure all resources are deployed efficiently to support business

3. To ensure efficient co-work with sales team for sales growth

4. To manage supply chain in accordance with operations objectives

5. To generate relevant reports related to operations KPIs and sales

6. To collaborate with cross functional team members with efficient and on time communication

7. To analyze entity business and provide information to Operation and sales team for planning and decision making

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Establish a strategy to reduce management costs and improve efficiency by forecasting customer demand and managing risks through supply chain.
  • Manage global and local risk factors for supply chain
  • Manage the daily end-to-end Supply Chain Operation in SEA and Ensure the total operation cost towards annual targets
  • Coordinating and negotiating with operations , sales and customers.
  • Define an efficient Supply Chain Process in SEA
  • Integrate SEA customers demand and communicate it to production plants to ensure smooth product supply.
  • Customer service activities including processing of all customer orders, customer enquiries, product enquiries, customer complaints including data input in Accpac and SAP
  • Process customer orders, track and manage shipments to deliver products to customers on time.
  • Dispatch daily requests for root cause analysis and corrective action process for customer complaints
  • Import activities performing the necessary regulatory review, preparing for Customs clearance and managing shipment delivery schedule for all products and customers.
  • Export activities performing the necessary regulatory review , shipping document preparation , working with freight forwarders to book shipments, working with warehouse for shipment loading
  • Manage and co-ordinate cycle count/ stock –take process with external warehouse and establishment of corrective actions if required
  • Manage inventory towards the DOH target set by Operations
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels and minimize slow-moving materials through discussions
  • Ensure timely entries of all data into the Asia Pacific Operations KPI and to generate all presentation as required by operations.
  • Liaise with counterpart in AP entities or with Finance personnel in entity to provide specific data related
  • Responsible for the preparation of monthly operation meeting

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years working experiences, preferably with customer service, purchasing, supply chain and operations management
  • Must possess good analytical and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of leveraging duty benefits of free trade agreements, application of tariff codes, Service Levels and Supply Chain functions.
  • Effective written/oral communications with ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, multilingual for better communications in the region (English and Chinese)
