System Analyst

System Analyst | AI Transformation | Non-Life Insurance | Immediate Start

This is an initial short term contract with plans to extend.

We are looking for a System Analyst to work on an AI transformation programme at a leading non-life insurer.

This is a high-visibility engagement at the very beginning of its journey. You will sit between the business, technology and data teams, shaping how AI is applied across core insurance operations from day one.

What you will do

• Run discovery workshops with senior business stakeholders to uncover pain points and identify high-value AI use cases across the general insurance value chain
• Translate business needs into clear business requirements, functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Map current-state and target-state processes and data flows, highlighting where automation and AI can add real impact
• Work closely with data scientists, engineers and architects to make sure solutions are feasible, well-defined and delivered on time
• Support solution design, testing and UAT, and help drive adoption across the business
• Prepare clear, concise documentation and steering committee materials for senior audiences

What you will bring

• Available to start immediately
• A consulting background with a Big Four or comparable top-tier firm
• Proven experience as a System Analyst or Business Analyst on large-scale transformation, digital or technology programmes
• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and stakeholder management skills
• Exposure to financial services; non-life or general insurance experience (claims, underwriting, pricing, policy servicing) is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with data, analytics, automation or AI/ML initiatives, and the ability to speak confidently with technical teams
• Excellent written and spoken English, with the polish expected of a client-facing consultant
