Job Description

Help cities run better: smoother traffic, busier parks, stronger downtowns and smarter transit. The work is grounded in real data on how people actually move.

At CityData.AI, our big data and AI platforms turn large-scale mobility data into decisions for government agencies, transport ministries, park systems and research organizations in the US and Asia-Pacific. We're looking for a Technical Project Manager who wants to own delivery from start to finish, work directly with customers, and grow with a fast-moving, founder-led team.

About CityData.AI

We were founded in 2020 and are headquartered in San Francisco. We're self-funded and self-sustaining. Our products cover:

  • CityFlow: roads, highways and tolling
  • CityTransit: buses, rail and metro
  • CityParks: parks and recreation
  • CityEconomy: downtowns and economic hubs

Our customers use them to plan infrastructure, measure the impact of investments, and serve their communities better. Learn more at www.citydata.ai

What you'll do

Own project delivery

  • Turn customer goals into clear scope, milestones and plans, then drive them to on-time delivery
  • Break requirements down into well-defined tasks for engineering, data and product teams, and track them in Jira
  • Run several projects at once: set priorities, manage dependencies, and spot risks early
  • Review dashboards, reports and data deliverables before they reach customers, so quality and accuracy are never in doubt

Be the customer's go-to person in APAC

  • Guide customers through onboarding, adoption and ongoing success
  • Learn their business goals well enough to see where our products can do more for them
  • Work with Sales on renewals and expansion, and support pre-sales when needed

Connect customers with our technical teams

  • Turn customer issues into clear technical problems, coordinate the fix, and close the loop
  • Handle escalations calmly and find solutions that work for both sides
  • Keep documentation and status updates sharp, so everyone always knows what's happening

What you bring

  • 3+ years in technical project management, customer success, or delivery roles
  • Excellent spoken and written English, and you're comfortable presenting to senior government and enterprise stakeholders
  • Proven ability to run several projects in parallel with little supervision
  • Hands-on experience with Jira or similar tools
  • Comfort with data, enough to question a dashboard or catch a number that looks wrong
  • Experience working with international customers and teams across time zones
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, management, business or a related field, or equivalent experience

Nice to have

  • PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum or similar certification
  • Experience with AWS or Google Cloud
  • Experience with BI or data-visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
  • Exposure to GIS, geospatial or location data
  • Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce or a similar CRM

Why you'll like it here

  • Real impact. Your projects shape how cities plan roads, transit and public spaces.
  • Real ownership. You'll own full customer accounts and projects, not just a small slice of them.
  • Learn fast. You'll work hands-on with big data, AI agents and geospatial analytics alongside an experienced team.
  • Remote-first. Work from home in Bangkok with a global team. [Note expected overlap with US hours, e.g. a few early-morning or evening calls per week.]
  • Pay: [THB range per month] + [benefits: health insurance, equipment allowance, learning budget, paid leave, etc.]

How to apply

Apply here with your CV and a short note (3–4 sentences) about a project you delivered that was at risk, and what you did to save it.
