Test Engineer (Transcievers)

Provide and update process flows and process instructions. Responsible for production test systems, tester readiness, validation, correlation, debugging, and yield improvement for semi-FG and module platforms supporting optical transceiver production.

Support the organization goals in achieving total customer satisfaction

Key Responsibilities:

• Develops solutions to technical problems through the engineering principles, theories, concepts.
• Create tools that would help improve efficiency for production and engineering team.
• Maintain and monitor for semi-FG and module transceiver test database and testers.
• Perform FAT/SAT/GR&R and TX/RX/BER debugging.
• Install software and setup tester follow process instructions, update instruction.
• Follow assignments and guidance from project leaders and engineering managers.
• Knows your customer's expectations and drives actions to meet them.
• Performs related work as required by Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Optical Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years in optical transceiver production testing,
• Familiarity with semi-FG and module production testers.
• Familiarity with PAM4 testing, TDECQ, OMA, BER, SNDR, and Rx Sensitivity.
• Familiarity using PPG, Error Detector, BERT, Oscilloscope, OSA, and Optical Power Meter.
• Familiarity with FAT, SAT, Correlation, GR&R, and production yield improvement.
• Familiarity with supporting 400G, 800G, and future 1.6T products

Required Skill:

• Good command of English, Computer program, Test Software, C++, LabVIEW, Python
