Value-based Healthcare Transformation, Specialist

Position Objective:

Drive value-based healthcare transformation by connecting care, claims, technology, and ecosystem partners to improve healthcare quality, operational efficiency, and member experience. Turn insights into practical solutions that support appropriate care, efficient resource utilization, and the long-term sustainability of health insurance

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Transform claims and healthcare processes by identifying root causes, redesigning workflows, and improving efficiency, consistency, and member/provider experience
• Develop value-based healthcare solutions by building an understanding of care pathways, managed care, and provider practices through data, continuous learning, and collaboration with clinical and subject-matter experts
• Enable technology-driven improvement by translating healthcare and business needs into practical requirements, workflows, automation, analytics, and digital solutions
• Drive ecosystem collaboration and implementation by engaging internal teams, providers, partners, and other external stakeholders to turn ideas into adopted, measurable, and sustainable outcomes
• Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Healthcare, Public health, Health informatics, Engineering, Technology or related backgrounds are advantageous
• Minimum 5 years experience in these related fields: healthcare/insurance, process improvement, transformation, claims, consulting, operations, data & digital implementation, and also clinical practice (Candidates with non-traditional backgrounds may be considered if they demonstrate strong capability through the work-sample assessment)
• Healthcare professional training or license, Lean/six sigma, Human-centered design, Agile, Product owner, Project management, change management and transformation or related certifications are considered a plus
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
• Ability to translate business and healthcare needs into practical process and technology solutions
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business, clinical, technical, and external partners
• Fast learner with a strong interest in healthcare, managed care, and value-based healthcare
