Vice President Project Finance

Job Highlight : We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Vice President, Project Finance to lead project finance strategy, funding, and financial structuring for our renewable energy and infrastructure projects. This role will be responsible for developing and executing financing strategies across the project lifecycle, from investment evaluation and financial modeling through debt structuring, lender negotiations, financial close, and ongoing financial risk management.

Job Description :

• Lead project finance strategy and financial structuring for renewable energy and infrastructure projects, including Solar and Wind.
• Develop, review, and challenge financial models, including Project IRR, Equity IRR, NPV, DSCR, cash flow, sensitivity analysis, and scenario analysis.
• Design optimal debt and equity structures to support project investment and maximize financial efficiency.
• Lead project financing activities with banks, financial institutions, investors, lenders, and financial advisors.
• Manage the preparation and negotiation of Term Sheets, Financing Agreements, Loan Agreements, and financial covenants.
• Evaluate funding costs, interest rate exposure, foreign exchange exposure, liquidity, and other financial risks.
• Support investment decisions through comprehensive financial feasibility and investment analysis.
• Provide financial input for M&A, Joint Ventures, acquisitions, and strategic investment opportunities.
• Lead the financing process from initial structuring through financial close and post-closing requirements.
• Partner with Business Development, Investment, Project Development, Legal, and Engineering teams to assess project bankability and financing requirements.
• Prepare and present financing strategies, investment analysis, and recommendations to Senior Management, Investment Committee, and Board-level stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, investors, and strategic partners.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the Project Finance team while establishing best practices and standards for financial modeling and project financing.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
• 12–15+ years of relevant experience in Project Finance, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Financial Advisory, or related fields.
• Proven experience in Project Finance and funding for large-scale energy, renewable energy, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, debt structuring, project valuation, cash flow analysis, and investment analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in negotiating and managing financing transactions with banks, lenders, and financial institutions.
• Strong understanding of DSCR, debt covenants, financing terms, cost of capital, and risk assessment.
• Experience in M&A, JV, investment transactions, or strategic financial planning is highly desirable.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate complex financial analysis into clear business decisions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
