Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Unit Head for Data Center to lead and scale our data center business.
This role is not a purely technical position — it requires a strategic business leader who can drive growth, investments, partnerships, and end-to-end project delivery.
You will be responsible for building the business, shaping strategy, and ensuring successful execution across all phases.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Leadership & Ownership
- Lead and manage the Data Center Business Unit with full accountability for P&L, growth, and performance
- Define and execute the business strategy, market entry, and expansion roadmap
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams
- Position the company as a key player in the data center ecosystem in Thailand
2. Strategic Growth & Investment
- Lead feasibility studies, financial modeling, and investment analysis for new projects
- Drive investment decisions and business case development
- Lead commercial negotiations with partners, investors, and key stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government, regulators, and strategic partners
3. Project Oversight & Execution
- Oversee end-to-end project delivery as the Owner's Representative
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives
- Provide strategic direction on technical matters (no need to be hands-on)
- Manage and mitigate risks across design, construction, commissioning, and operations
4. Stakeholder & Ecosystem Management
- Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and partners to ensure smooth execution
- Build a strong network within the data center, energy, and infrastructure ecosystem
- Represent the company in industry forums and key stakeholder engagements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields
- Minimum 12+ years of experience in data centers, infrastructure, energy, or related industries
- Proven track record in leading a business, business unit, or large-scale projects
- Strong commercial mindset with experience in driving growth, revenue, and profitability
- Ability to bridge business strategy and technical understanding (not required to be deeply technical)
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- Fluent in English
