Manage its team based on Employee Involvement principles
Manage the workload of the area (receiving, shipping, internal movements) and optimize the allocated resources.
Manage equipment such as Forklift, Tow truck, Stacker etc. and also control Charger room
Manage tools, small equipment e.g. Scanner, Handheld, Racking, chute
Define and set up the physical organization of warehouses within site(s)
Organize and control the internal transportation of material in order to assure the best service level and cost.
Be interface between supply chain, Quality and production at shop floor level ensuring material movement is in accordance with operations expectations.
Develop and optimize all physical and information flows using Lean principles (including company owned external warehouses).
Manage and control the transactional flow for all physical flows and space management
Ensure actual inventory accuracy and reliability (FIFO and Cycle counting etc.)
Manage inbound and outbound freight with external providers, suppliers and customers
Packaging control and management
Both current and new program
Use correct Packaging according to Packaging instruction
Review/Generate Packaging Instruction/Packaging Standard when required
Storage, keep clean, no damage,
Ensure have enough, no shortage and repairing (if need) and follow up (no missing)
Problem log issue and report when Customer/Supplier/Provider make error or damage
Report to his/her hierarchical superior all delays and inadvertences in regard to material booking/movement/transferring that may affect the material flow to production
Report to his/her hierarchical superior all short supply/delivery to customers, missing or delay shipment, have an extra/premium freight
Maintain the highest standards of Health and safety, environment, 5S, Lean Enterprise, and Quality System.
