About the Role - We are looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee various accounting functions and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Reporting to the Financial Director, as the Accounting Manager, the incumbent is to responsible for;

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the monthly accounting book closing
• Preparing management reports e.g. GPS, BCS, Working Capital report, and submission as per group timetable
• Ensuring the depreciation, provision are proper taken up and in line with IFRS, group policy
• Ensuring the accuracy of accounting procedures with a good level of internal control
• Responsible for the preparation of the annual statutory accounts in accordance to current legislations and accounting standards, along with year-end audit and taxation liaison
• Responsible for the preparation of income tax, withholding tax, VAT in accordance to current legislation
• Supervise the day to day running of the accounting function including account receivable, account payable, administering fixed assets
• Review balance sheet accounts and reconciliation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting. (CPD is preferred)
• Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting from an international consumer goods firm.

• Excellent English communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills for cooperating with Corporate / Regional Accouting and local management team.
