Automation Engineer

Job Descriptions

• Design, develop, and maintain software for automatic machine control systems to support manufacturing and production lines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve machine automation performance, functionality, and operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and optimize automation systems, including machine control and related equipment.
• Support new machine fabrication, installation, commissioning, and production start-up activities until final approval is completed.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure project timelines and technical requirements are achieved.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, system specifications, and operational procedures.
• Support continuous improvement activities related to automation systems and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Control Engineering, or related fields.
• At least 2 years of experience in automation engineering, machine control systems, or industrial automation.
• Strong knowledge of computer programming languages. Preferably with hands-on experience in C++, C#, or Python programming.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming, HMI, and industrial automation systems.
• Experience in machine commissioning, troubleshooting, and process improvement.
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills in both Thai and English are preferred.
• Basic knowledge of AI, Machine Vision, Image Processing, or Vision Inspection / Camera Inspection Systems is an advantage.
