Business Development Analyst

About the role

The Business Development Analyst supports the Head of Business Development in evaluating and executing strategic initiatives across Central Department Store, including store renovation, development, expansion, and new business opportunities. The role covers business evaluation, financial feasibility, management materials, project coordination, and ad-hoc assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate store development, renovation, expansion, space optimization, and other business opportunities from commercial, financial, and operational perspectives
• Lead feasibility studies for assigned projects, including financial modeling, CAPEX, profitability, IRR, payback, and scenario analysis; coordinate inputs with stakeholders and drive the internal approval process
• Prepare business cases, analyses, presentations, and materials for management review and decision-making
• Coordinate approved projects with Finance, Operations, Merchandising, Design & Construction, and Property & Leasing to ensure alignment on scope, timeline, budget, and deliverables
• Take ownership of assigned analyses, special projects, and coordination tasks, ensuring timely and high-quality completion

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Real Estate, or a related field, with 1–3 years of relevant experience
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with a good understanding of P&L, financial modeling, investment analysis, and feasibility studies
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI is a plus
• Strong organization and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
• Good written and verbal communication skills in Thai and English
