Business Development Manager

MAIN TASKS:

1.To establish and implement IKM Testing strategy and objectives.

2.To establish strategic business planning.

3.Develop strategic marketing plans.

4.Manage & Coordinate project tendering functions.

5.Develop / Maintain good relations with project staff.

6.Develop, build & maintain Client relationships.

7.Monitor all commercial aspects of projects.

8.Provision of solutions to internal interface problems.

9.Focal point for handling Client complaints.

10. Perform general duties and other ad-hoc duties given by Supervisor

Activities Relating To Main Tasks:

1.Business planning, setting tasks and continuous monitoring implementation of corrective action

2.Rapidly respond to clients relating to the commercial and legal aspects of tenders/contracts.

3.Control costs, review and verify all commercial aspects during & after tendering process

4.Arbitrate on problem areas and evaluate necessity.

5.Oversee general daily functions performed/assigned to subordinates.

·Offer guidance and support as required.

·Streamline/expedite tasks as necessary.

·On-the-job monitoring of tasks and activities.

·Provision of guidance and support to subordinates, as appropriate, in day to day activities.

·Empowerment of subordinates in achievement of tasks, and monitoring deadlines accordingly.

·Encourage and develop team relationship.

6.Handle Client complaints. Identify and control potentially problematic areas.

7.Arbitrate on problems, maintain effective control and eliminate the possibility of conflict.

Qualifications

• Sound technical knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry with a relevant Engineering / Management qualification Offshore
• Minimum 5 years experience gained within a management capacity.
• Management / Supervisory skills.
