Chinese Business Development Specialist (Remote / Contract-Based)

Our client is Thai engineering and construction company established in 2004, with strong capabilities in onshore/offshore Oil & Gas, steel structure, piping works, engineering services, and manpower supply for drilling rigs and offshore platforms. With operations across Thailand and expansion into Rayong, Songkhla, and a new head office in Phraeksa (2026), the Company is entering a new phase of regional growth.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Chinese Business Development Specialist to support The Company expansion into the Chinese Oil & Gas, EPC/EPCI, Energy, Petrochemical, Offshore, and Industrial Construction sectors.

This role focuses on relationship-building, market access, and project opportunity development—not traditional sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify Chinese companies with potential projects in Thailand and Southeast Asia
• Build and strengthen relationships with EPC, Oil & Gas, Energy, Petrochemical, and Industrial Construction stakeholders
• Connect The Company with decision-makers, project owners, and commercial teams in China
• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and project leads
• Support business development from initial contact to potential project engagement
• Act as a bridge between Chinese companies and The Company's engineering and construction capabilities in Thailand

Ideal Candidate:

• 5–15 years of experience in:
• Business Development
• International Business / Overseas Business
• Commercial / Project Development
• Sales/Marketing with strong BD responsibilities
• Background in Oil & Gas, EPC/EPCI, Offshore Engineering, Energy, Petrochemical, Construction, or Industrial Projects
• Strong understanding of the Chinese business ecosystem and ability to access key stakeholders
• Experience with overseas projects or cross-border business is highly preferred
• Excellent communication skills; able to work independently and remotely
