Role & Responsibilties:
Strategic Leadership:
- Be an integral part of both the local and regional teams led by experienced eCommerce management professionals with over 15 years of experience in the CPG eCommerce or retailing sectors.
- Develop and execute strategic and operational plans for the CPG vertical, covering all aspects including business engagements, marketing, consulting, operations, and personnel management.
- Align country-specific strategies with regional goals to ensure optimum target utilization and profitability for the country.
Resource Management:
- Oversee the management of all resources within the country, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization.
- Lead the development and implementation of training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensure that all organizational resources are aligned with the business goals and are effectively supporting the execution of the strategic plan.
Stakeholder Management:
- Manage relationships with both external and internal stakeholders at various levels, from C-suite executives to working teams across regional teams, brands, e-commerce platforms, and vendors.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication, and maintaining strong, collaborative partnerships.
- Represent the organization in high-level discussions and negotiations with partners, ensuring the organization's interests are well-represented.
Innovative Leadership:
- Demonstrate an innovative leadership approach to drive the achievement of business goals set by the organization, stakeholders, and corporate clients.
- Lead the team by example, fostering a culture of innovation, creativity, and proactive problem-solving.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously seek out new opportunities to enhance the organization's competitive edge in the CPG market.
Brand Health and Performance Optimization:
- Communicate and optimize brand health metrics, executing improvement plans as needed to maintain or enhance brand performance.
- Develop and deliver regular business reviews to CPG brands, providing insights and recommendations across all digital channels to drive growth and profitability.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to optimize performance across the CPG vertical.
Business Development and Accounts Management:
- Lead overall business development efforts, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to grow accounts, increase profitability, and achieve successful target completion.
- Oversee basic accounting functions related to account management, ensuring financial accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and implement account growth strategies, fostering long-term relationships with key clients and partners to drive sustained success.
EXPERIENCE: (List down the minimum years and type of experience required)
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in the CPG sector, with a strong focus on eCommerce and retail/ brand management.
- Proven experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop effective business strategies for corporate clients.
- Innovative mindset with a passion for driving growth and achieving business objectives.
