Data Governance Specialist

***Data Governance Specialist – 6 Months Contract – Bangkok ­­– Hybrid***

RED has a new contract opportunity for a Data Governance Specialist to join one of our key partners for an enterprise Data Governance transformation programme.

The initial contract will be for 6 months with scope for extension based on project requirements.

This contract is to start ASAP and will be hybrid, with 4 days per week on site in Bangkok, Thailand.

Specific skills/experience required:

• 4+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Data Stewardship, Data Quality, Metadata Management, Master Data Management, or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of data ownership, stewardship models, governance policies, standards, and decision-making frameworks.
• Experience implementing or supporting Data Governance operating models, governance forums, and ownership structures.
• Strong experience in Data Quality governance, including issue management, prioritisation, tracking, and escalation processes.
• Experience working with business and technology stakeholders, translating governance requirements into practical solutions.
• Experience working within enterprise transformation programmes and structured delivery environments, including Jira.
• Experience within manufacturing, supply chain, retail, e-commerce, or product data environments is highly desirable.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent in both English and Thai.
• Ability to join within a short notice period is preferred.
