Data Scientist

Roles and Responsibilities

Collaborate with project team members including data science and engineering teams to understand client requirements and objectives

Prepare datasets pertaining to data collection, preprocessing and feature engineering for data analytics and AI solution development

Apply exploratory data analysis, statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to uncover patterns, trends and anomalies, as well as extract actionable insights

Support the development, validation and deployment of AI solutions according to the model management process, such as model training, evaluation and optimization

Stay updated on the latest advancement in data science and machine learning, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the methodology

Communicate findings and recommendations to project stakeholders through clear and concise presentations and visualization Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field

3+ years of experience in data science or data analytics projects

Strong programming skills in Python and SQL along with libraries and frameworks for machine learning and statistical test, and their variation among databases

Proficiency in optimizing large complicated SQL statements and code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, SVN or others

Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, and Power BI

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Experience with Cloud technology and databases (Cloud AWS, Azure, GCP)
