Data Scientist

Roles and Responsibilities

● Collaborate with project team members including data science and engineering teams to understand client requirements and objectives

● Prepare datasets pertaining to data collection, preprocessing and feature engineering for data analytics and AI solution development

● Apply exploratory data analysis, statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to uncover patterns, trends and anomalies, as well as extract actionable insights

● Support the development, validation and deployment of AI solutions according to the model management process, such as model training, evaluation and optimization

● Stay updated on the latest advancement in data science and machine learning, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the methodology

● Communicate findings and recommendations to project stakeholders through clear and concise presentations and visualization Qualifications

● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field

● 3+ years of experience in data science or data analytics projects

● Strong programming skills in Python and SQL along with libraries and frameworks for machine learning and statistical test, and their variation among databases

● Proficiency in optimizing large complicated SQL statements and code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, SVN or others

● Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, and Power BI

● Strong problem-solving and communication skills

● Experience with Cloud technology and databases (Cloud AWS, Azure, GCP)
