About the Role:

Quantium is seeking a highly analytical, deeply hands-on Director of Product to lead the design and execution of our enterprise platform. You will be responsible for the overarching product experience, from a prospective client's initial evaluation, through complex onboarding, to the high-density daily workflows of specialized finance teams. This is a relentless, execution-heavy leadership role. There is no room for high-level roadmap pontification or simply managing other PMs/ BAs. You will personally drive product design, complex workflow simplification, technical requirements, and rapid prototyping. Supported by a team of Business Analysts, you will bridge the gap between engineering, client solutions, sales, and our most senior clients to build clean, scalable software for the private markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Direction & Architecture

• Platform Unification: Execute Quantium's modules (CORE Accounting, Cashflow, NAV Oversight, Portfolio Monitoring, Portal, and AI) into small set of seamless unified enterprise offerings.
• Ruthless Prioritization: Make rigorous, practical trade-offs between new feature development, existing-client demands, and technical debt to keep engineering focused on what actually matters.
• Design for Scale: Transform highly technical and specific client requirements in fund accounting, fund analytics and portfolio management modules into modular, reusable product capabilities rather than one-off custom developments.
• Executive Alignment: Partner directly with the Founders and Head of Engineering on long-term product architecture and platform evolution.

Customer Experience & Onboarding Engine

• Frictionless Implementation: Overhaul the manual onboarding process. Build guided setups for complex data (fund structures, allocations, accounting rules) to reduce reliance on spreadsheets and emails.
• Workflow Simplification: Streamline dense financial workflows—specifically source-data upload, mapping, validation, and reconciliation—without sacrificing critical accounting controls or edge-case handling.
• Actionable Visibility: Provide clients and internal teams with clear, real-time tracking of outstanding actions, approvals, and implementation stages.

Product Execution & Delivery

• Root-Cause Discovery: Engage directly with senior clients to strip away requested solutions and isolate the underlying business and operational problems.
• Rigorous Specification: Convert complex financial requirements into precise workflows, UI designs, and technical product specifications. Produce your own prototypes.
• Lifecycle Management: Work lockstep with engineering through development, testing, and release. Track post-launch adoption to ensure features actively solve the intended problems across the wider platform.

Team Leadership

• Mentorship: Manage, mentor, and build a high-performing team of Business Analysts and PMs.
• Standard Setting: Establish rigorous standards for product research, specification quality, testing, and release follow-up.
• Resource Allocation: Effectively delegate tactical execution while reserving senior product judgment for critical workflow and architectural decisions.

Requirements:

• Experience: 8–12 years of product management experience, specifically building and scaling complex B2B enterprise software.
• Domain Expertise: Proven track record owning enterprise platforms utilized by finance, accounting, operations, or similar highly technical professional teams.
• Execution Focus: Exceptional ability to untangle complicated processes and write exhaustive product requirements. Comfortable personally producing workflows and prototypes.
• Communication: Fluent in written and spoken English. Highly comfortable driving discussions directly with senior client executives.
• Location: Must be able to work on-site in Bangkok with the product and engineering teams.

Bonus Points for Experience In:

• Accounting, financial software, or investment-management technology.
• Banking, treasury, payments, or enterprise workflow software.
• Complex digital onboarding, data integration, and reconciliation.
• Applying AI within strictly controlled business processes. (Note: Private-markets experience is advantageous but not strictly required).

Who Should Not Apply

This is a rigorous, deeply technical role. It is not suitable for candidates who:

• Have built their careers exclusively on consumer apps, marketing funnels, or advertising products.
• Have transitioned into people management and no longer write detailed specifications or build prototypes themselves.
• Prefer high-level strategy presentations and whiteboarding over navigating complex edge cases and writing detailed workflows.
• Treat every client request as a mandate to build a custom feature.
• Believe customer onboarding and implementation are purely operational problems for somebody else to solve.
• Want to implement AI features without first mastering the underlying data architecture, calculations, and strict financial controls.
