Executive, HR Business Partner (Medical)

As part of the TGCH HR team, you will support the Medical HR function in partnering with the medical team at Tengah General and Community Hospital (TGCH). In this role, you will work closely with the Chairman Medical Board Office, Clinical Leads, Clinical Operations and various stakeholders to support HR programmes and initiatives across talent acquisition, manpower planning, learning and development, employee engagement and HR operations.

In addition, you will be involved in the hospital nesting plan for the Medical team as well as HR projects and initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the Clinical Leads and stakeholders in identifying manpower requirements and coordinating recruitment activities to meet medical manpower needs;
  • Manage and coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interview scheduling, candidate management, offer administration and onboarding of new staff members for the Medical group;
  • Work in partnership with the Protem CMB Office and various stakeholders on the nesting, deployment and practising registration processes for the Medical team;
  • Support the implementation and administration of the Health Manpower Development Plan, fellowships and leadership development programmes for the Medical team;
  • Provide HR operational support and services for the Medical team;
  • Assist in the interpretation and application of HR policies, procedures and guidelines, and provide HR administrative support to stakeholders;
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure timely processing of HR transactions and documentation;
  • Support the review and implementation of HR policies and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational guidelines;
  • Liaise with Centres of Excellence and relevant stakeholders in the implementation of HR initiatives, programmes and projects;
  • Any other ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Possess strong analytical, written and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, resourceful and willing to learn.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new systems and technologies.
