Our fast-paced startup environment is driven by innovation, and we are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Finance Manager to join our team and contribute to our growth.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Finance Lead who will oversee our financial and management reporting, accounting, treasury, tax compliance and manage our payables and receivables. This is a hands-on role ideal for a proactive individual who can handle a variety of financial tasks, work closely with our leadership team, and manage a small finance team.

What You Will Do:

Financial Reporting and Accounting:

Manage and review bookkeeping in the accounting system.

Provide guidance to Gowabi's accountant and finance clerk.

Responsible for accurate and timely month and quarter end financial reporting.

Translate financial results into relevant insights for management and investors.

Manage yearly audit process with Big4 company.

Planning & Analysis:

Collaborate with the leadership team to develop short and long-term financial strategies.

Assist division heads in creating annual budgets and forecasts.

Develop financial models to project future growth and identify key business drivers.

Analyze financial and operational results to provide insights into company performance.

Accounts Receivable and Payable

Manage and monitor accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes.

Ensure timely and accurate payments to customers and vendors, maximizing credit terms when possible.

Develop and implement internal processes to enhance efficiency, control and compliance in managing and monitoring AR and AP.

Process Improvement:

Review and refine existing processes to identify areas for improvement.

Recommend and implement productivity and cost-saving initiatives.

Team Management:

Manage and mentor a small finance team.

Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

What We Look For:

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance role, preferably in a startup or tech environment.

Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.

Experience building financial reports in Excel.

Experience working with SQL is a bonus.

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Hands-on approach with a strong attention to detail.

Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Proactive and results-driven mindset.
