About the Opportunity:

We are supporting a confidential client within the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry to appoint an experienced General Manager to lead the organization's next phase of growth and development. This is a broad leadership role with full responsibility across business strategy, P&L, commercial development, manufacturing & operations, quality & regulatory, finance and people leadership.

We are looking for a commercially driven pharmaceutical leader who also brings strong exposure to, or understanding of, the pharmaceutical manufacturing and technical operations environment.

Strong Thai-speaking capability is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the overall business strategy, annual business plan and growth priorities
• Take full ownership of P&L, budgeting and overall business performance
• Lead commercial strategy, business development, strategic partnerships and portfolio expansion
• Develop business opportunities across both public and private healthcare markets
• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of pharmaceutical manufacturing and operations
• Ensure high standards across GMP, quality, regulatory and compliance
• Lead senior cross-functional teams across Commercial, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance and HR
• Build strong relationships with government authorities, healthcare stakeholders, customers and strategic partners
• Drive organizational development, succession planning and leadership capability

Candidate Profile:

• 15+ years of experience within pharmaceuticals Manufacturing, vaccines, biologics, life sciences or related regulated industries
• Senior leadership experience as General Manager, Business Unit Head, Commercial Director, Business Director or equivalent
• Proven commercial leadership, P&L ownership and business development experience
• Strong understanding of the Thailand pharmaceutical and healthcare market
• Exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing, production, technical operations, plant operations or quality is highly valuable
• Good understanding of GMP, quality, regulatory and regulated pharmaceutical operations
• Strong track record in people leadership and senior stakeholder management
• Experience working with public-sector stakeholders, tenders and/or market access would be advantageous
• Thai-speaking capability is essential, with a good command of English
• Flexibility to work regularly from the company's operational site in Thailand
