The Opportunity

We are seeking a commercially astute and people-focused General Manager to lead our property in Bangkok. As the most senior leader on property, you will be responsible for driving business performance, delivering exceptional guest experiences, developing high-performing teams, and safeguarding the long-term value of the asset.

This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished hospitality leader to take ownership, work closely with owners, corporate stakeholders and hotel teams to drive sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Business Leadership

  • Provide strategic leadership for the overall performance of the property, ensuring alignment with the hotel's business objectives, brand standards and long-term growth strategy.
  • Drive profitability, market share growth and operational excellence while continuously identifying opportunities to strengthen the hotel's competitive position.

Commercial & Financial Performance

  • Assume full accountability for the financial performance of the property, including revenue growth, profitability, budgeting, forecasting and cost management.
  • Partner closely with Revenue Management, Sales and Marketing teams to maximise RevPAR, occupancy, market share and overall commercial performance.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and mitigate business risks.

Operational Excellence

  • Lead all aspects of hotel operations to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality guest experiences and brand standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across service delivery, productivity, quality assurance and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, regulatory requirements and safety standards.
  • Guest Experience & Brand Standards
  • Champion a guest-centric culture that consistently delivers memorable and personalised experiences.
  • Monitor guest feedback, reputation scores and service performance metrics to drive ongoing improvements and strengthen guest loyalty.
  • Act as the ambassador of the property, ensuring brand standards are consistently upheld across all guest touchpoints.

People Leadership

  • Build, motivate and develop a high-performing team through effective coaching, succession planning and talent development.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous learning while promoting high levels of employee engagement and retention.
  • Lead and inspire department heads to achieve both individual and collective business objectives.

Stakeholder & Owner Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, investors, corporate stakeholders, business partners and local authorities.
  • Provide regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to ownership and senior management.
  • Represent the property within the hospitality community and strengthen the hotel's market presence through active industry engagement.

Governance & Asset Management

  • Safeguard the long-term value of the asset through sound operational, financial and maintenance practices.
  • Ensure successful completion of audits, quality reviews and compliance assessments.
  • Drive risk management, business continuity and governance initiatives to protect the interests of guests, employees and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Proven leadership experience as a General Manager, Hotel Manager, Resident Manager or equivalent leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong track record of delivering commercial success and achieving financial targets.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams in a dynamic hospitality environment.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, sales, marketing and financial planning.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Fluency in English required; Thai language capability would be advantageous.
