Head of Accounting

Job Purpose

To lead end-to-end accounting operations, group consolidation, tax compliance, and financial reporting, while establishing accounting frameworks for new business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate GL entries in compliance with TFRS/IFRS.
• Oversee multi-entity financial consolidations, intercompany reconciliations, and elimination entries.
• Act as standard expert; design chart of accounts, workflows, and internal controls for new business ventures.
• Manage CIT, VAT, WHT, and transfer pricing compliance; serve as primary contact for external auditors and the Revenue Department.
• Build complex Excel models, data reconciliations, and financial reports from ERP data exports.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and drive performance across the accounting team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 8+ years experience with a mix of Audit Firm and Corporate Accounting (required).
• Strong technical knowledge of TFRS / IFRS standards.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Advanced Excel skills.
• Proven track record in consolidation, tax compliance, and setting up accounting processes for new businesses.
• Good command of English and Thai.
