About this Position In this regional role, you will lead business development for Consumer Goods Adhesives across APAC as a member of the regional leadership team. You will identify market trends, customer needs, emerging applications, growth opportunities and channel strategy. Working closely with regional and global teams, you will lead a team of Business Development Managers to translate market insights into strategic business expansion plans, customer roadmaps and entry strategies to drive sustainable and profitable growth across the region.

- Lead mid- and long-term business expansion planning for APAC, aligned with regional priorities and global SBU direction to deliver profitable growth
- Develop deep customer, market, competitor, and trade insights across APAC to identify trends, opportunities, and evolving customer needs
- Translate market intelligence into strategic growth initiatives, including new market/segment entry strategies, innovation priorities, and business development opportunities
- Analyze and build future growth scenarios, including timing, investment needs, risks, and commercial potential, to create new paths for profitable business expansion
- Establish and maintain relevant customer and market relationships on senior level
- Ensure strong stakeholder management across the BU and collaborate closely with other teams, such as Marketing, Sales, Key Account Management, Product Development or Application Engineering
- Coordinate and manage strategic business development projects, acting as project lead for regional initiatives and contributing to global or BU-wide projects where required
- Steer and develop channel strategy across the region
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 10-12 years of experience in business development, including leadership and management responsibilities, preferably within the chemical industry
- Demonstrated success in B2B commercial roles, including selling products and solutions to manufacturing customers
- Proven people leadership experience, with a strong track record of building, developing, and leading diverse, high-performing teams
- Experience navigating and influencing within complex, matrixed, multinational organizations
- Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and analytical problem-solving capabilities
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage
