We are hiring a Head of eCommerce Paid Media & Performance, D2C Asia, to lead and scale our performance engine across 8 markets.

This role is to build and own the end-to-end paid media and performance strategy, with a strong focus on marketplace ecosystems (onsite & offsite) and D2C acceleration; own the execution, and to stay agile to business and market needs and reality

You will drive how we invest, optimize, and scale media to deliver profitable growth, while building best-in-class capabilities across the region.

You will operate as a regional performance leader—setting direction, challenging the status quo, and ensuring every dollar spent delivers measurable business impact.

You will work in the multinational matrix organization aligning and collaborating with multiple cross-functional stakeholders

What you'll do:

  • Regional Paid Media Leadership
  • Define and lead the paid media strategy across Asia, fully aligned with commercial and D2C growth priorities
  • Own full-funnel performance across marketplaces and D2C (traffic, conversion, revenue, ROI)
  • Establish clear KPIs, measurement frameworks, and performance benchmarks tied to business outcomes
  • Align strategy and execution with CA Asia and country leadership.
  • Marketplace Performance (Core Focus)
  • Lead onsite (search, display, retail media) and offsite (social, programmatic, affiliates) strategy and execution
  • Drive performance across mega campaigns, always-on, and tactical activations with a strong ROI focus
  • Identify and unlock opportunities to capture high-quality traffic and demand across platforms
  • Campaign Optimization & Growth
  • Own continuous optimization of campaigns for efficiency, scale, and profitability
  • Leverage eCommerce performance metrics (e.g., conversion rate, ROAS, AOV, traffic quality) to drive data-led decisions
  • Partner closely with D2C data analytics and category management teams to integrate category trends, product performance, and commercial priorities into media strategy
  • Align media investment with hero SKUs, assortment strategy, and demand signals to maximize business impact
  • Lead a strong test-and-learn agenda to unlock new growth levers across channels and platforms
  • Ensure budgets are strategically allocated, well-paced, and optimized to maximize return on every dollar spent
  • Data, Analytics & Performance Governance
  • Partner with D2C Data Analytics team to build a data-first performance ecosystem, ensuring accurate measurement, attribution, and reporting
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations
  • Monitor performance vs targets, proactively identify gaps, and lead corrective actions
  • Establish strong reporting and performance steering cadence (weekly, monthly, quarterly), including business reviews, KPI tracking, and red-flag management
  • Drive proactive performance steering, adjusting investment, channel mix, and campaign priorities in real-time to stay on track vs targets and maximize outcomes
  • Agency & Stakeholder Leadership
  • Lead and challenge media agencies to deliver best-in-class planning, execution, and optimization
  • Establish strong governance, ways of working, and accountability frameworks
  • Influence senior stakeholders across markets with clear, data-backed narratives and recommendations
  • Collaborate closely with D2C, content, CRM, and commercial teams to ensure integrated execution
  • Capability Building & Ways of Working
  • Build scalable frameworks, playbooks, and best practices across markets
  • Elevate performance marketing maturity and capability across the region
  • Drive operational excellence, improving processes, workflows, and efficiency
  • Foster a high-performance culture with strong ownership and accountability

Who you are:

  • 7+ years of experience in paid media / performance, with strong eCommerce focus
  • Proven track record of leading regional or multi-market performance strategies
  • Deep expertise in marketplace media ecosystems (onsite & offsite)
  • Strong understanding of the Asia digital and media landscape
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize media investment for efficiency, scale, and profitability
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience in performance measurement and optimization
  • Experience managing agencies and complex cross-functional stakeholder environments
  • Hands-on experience with key platforms and tools (Seller Centers, Brand Portals, Ads platforms, DSPs, GA4, analytics tools)

Where you'll be:

You will be based at the APAC Regional Office, located in Bangkok, Thailand. Occasional travel in the region may be needed.
