We are supporting an international business managing a globally recognised FMCG brand across APAC. This role sits within a lean, high-impact team and is responsible for driving growth through distributors across multiple regional markets.
The position is focused on commercial ownership, managing distributor performance, driving sell-in and sell-out, and ensuring strong execution across diverse markets. This is not a direct sales role; success will come from your ability to influence, challenge and develop distributor partners.
Responsibilities
- Manage distributor relationships across multiple APAC markets
- Drive sell-in and sell-out performance across all assigned countries
- Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews
- Forecasting and demand planning cycles
- Monitor and control Inventory levels and stock coverage and sales performance vs forecast
- Control In-market execution and visibility
- Identify performance gaps and implement corrective commercial actions
- Work with distributors to execute promotions and trade investment strategies, channel and market expansion initiatives
- Maintain a strong understanding of Consumer behaviour, Competitive landscape and Channel dynamics across markets
Requirements
- Proven experience managing multiple distributors across international markets
- FMCG background (confectionery preferred)
- Strong regional exposure across APAC markets
- Demonstrated experience travelling to markets and working directly with distributors
- Strong commercial understanding of:
- Sell-in vs sell-out
- Forecasting and inventory management
- Distributor performance and accountability
