Job Description

SCOPE OF ROLE:

The Marketing Manager for Thailand is responsible for building brand awareness, developing partnerships, and driving customer demand across airport lounges, hotels, airport dining, and passenger services in the region. This role focuses on local brand-building, partnerships, and membership growth, while also working closely with the global marketing team to provide insights, localization, and performance feedback that strengthen global initiatives.

A key part of this role is collaboration with other regional marketing teams to drive inbound travelers into Thailand services and outbound passengers to Plaza Premium Group services worldwide. The role will also support Smart Traveller membership acquisition and engagement in the region, leveraging targeted campaigns, partnerships, and local activations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Develop and implement regional marketing and partnership strategies to grow brand awareness, lounge footfall, hotel occupancy, and service usage across Thailand.
  • Support Smart Traveller membership acquisition and engagement through targeted campaigns, partnerships, and local activations.
  • Work with the global marketing team to provide regional insights, market requirements, and performance feedback that improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with other regional marketing teams to align initiatives that drive inbound and outbound passenger traffic.
  • Plan and execute local activations and co-marketing initiatives with strategic partners to strengthen regional presence and engagement.
  • Support partnership development by creating joint marketing programmes and promotional campaigns that deliver commercial outcomes.
  • Coordinate campaign execution end-to-end with cross-functional stakeholders (Operations, Loyalty, Sales, Business Development, etc.) to ensure timely delivery and brand consistency.
  • Oversee creation of marketing and promotional content in collaboration with HQ, agencies, vendors, and design resources, ensuring impact and alignment with brand standards.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign effectiveness using data and insights to optimize regional strategies and inform decision-making.
  • Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities for brand positioning, membership growth, and customer engagement.
  • Support global marketing initiatives by localising and executing campaigns in Thailand, maintaining alignment with Group standards and goals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:-

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in marketing and partnerships, preferably in aviation, travel, hospitality, or other consumer-facing industries.
  • Proven track record in partnership marketing, brand-building, and membership or loyalty growth.
  • Experience working with digital marketing teams, with the ability to provide market insights and feedback to improve campaign relevance.
  • Strong understanding of BKK travel market dynamics and customer behavior across B2C, B2B2C, and B2B channels.
  • Experience collaborating across regional/global teams to drive cross-market passenger traffic.
  • Proficiency in campaign planning, execution, and project management, with strong stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data, identify insights, and optimize campaign performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to craft compelling marketing content and presentations.
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, thriving in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the region as required.
