about the job

As a Perfumer / Senior Perfumer, you will take the lead in designing, formulating, and developing commercially successful fragrances with a heavy focus on Functional Perfumery and Personal Care. Based in the dynamic hub of Bangkok, this cross-category role will challenge your technical precision and creative flair.

• Develop innovative, cost-effective, and winning fragrance formulas tailored to functional products and body care applications.
• Review and finalize analytical data from Perfumer Analysts to optimize and adapt existing formulas for market trends, regulatory changes, or cost optimization.
• Partner closely with the Evaluation department to guide olfactive validation stages, sensory panels, and performance testing across complex bases.
• Act as the technical and creative expert during client presentations, translating brand visions into successful olfactive realities.
• Stay ahead of regional consumer shifts, regulatory landscape updates, and raw material innovations to proactively pitch new concepts.

You will be joining a highly collaborative and cross-functional ecosystem. You will work side-by-side with a dedicated team of Fragrance Evaluators, Perfumer Analysts, Marketing specialists, and Regulatory experts. The leadership team believes in creative autonomy balanced with strategic alignment, offering you a supportive mentorship environment where your technical expertise is deeply valued to win major regional briefs.

skills and experience required

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related scientific field.
• Graduate of a recognized, reputable perfumery school or a structured internal corporate perfumery program.
• Mid to senior-level experience, with a proven track record specifically in functional or industrial applications (Personal Care experience is a plus).
• Deep understanding of raw materials, fragrance stability, performance behavior in complex bases, and global regulatory frameworks (IFRA guidelines).
• Excellent olfactory acuity, strong presentation skills, and a collaborative, growth-oriented mindset.
