We are representing our client, a global MNC operating across multiple industrial product segments. This role, based in Bangkok, Thailand, will lead the ASEAN commercial organization, manage the full P&L, and drive growth with a particular focus on the Automotive market.
Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of the ASEAN automotive segment, focusing on strategic customers and tailored solutions that drive growth.
- Design and implement a three-year commercial roadmap to accelerate revenue, increase market share, and outperform industry growth rates.
- Lead the sales of the complete fastening portfolio, addressing the needs of Japanese, Chinese, global OEMs, as well as EV and battery manufacturers.
- Keep a pulse on automotive and EV trendsincluding electrification, lightweighting, and sustainabilityand incorporate insights into regional strategy.
- Develop and maintain executive-level client relationships to position the company as a trusted, long-term partner.
- Translate market intelligence and customer feedback into actionable plans for product development, sales strategy, and business growth.
- Act as a bridge between commercial teams, engineering, and production to ensure smooth, cross-functional execution of initiatives.
- Set annual sales targets, track performance, and consistently exceed expectations through proactive monitoring and adjustments.
- Oversee regional forecasts, demand planning, and sales analysis to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Enhance customer experience and satisfaction, including improving Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
- Mentor, coach, and inspire the regional team to foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degrees such as MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of leadership experience, ideally within automotive OEMs, Tier suppliers, or EV-focused industries.
- Proven ability in strategic account management, consultative selling, and growing profitable portfolios.
- Strong technical knowledge with the confidence to explain complex solutions clearly to clients and internal teams.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, negotiation, and building alignment across multiple levels.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and customer-centric leadership style capable of driving results in dynamic environments.
- Established network within automotive and auto components ecosystem, particularly OEMs.
- Fluent in English; Japanese language and cultural familiarity a strong advantage.
- Willing to travel up to 40% across the region and internationally.
