ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an end-to-end junior sales and business development role. As a Sales Executive at Yodaplus, you will be responsible for the full commercial journey — from discovering the right target markets and building an ideal customer profile, to engaging prospects, managing the pipeline, and closing deals.
This role is designed for individuals who are serious about building a career in Sales, Marketing, and Business Development. You will receive hands-on mentorship from senior leadership and get real exposure to strategic B2B selling in the technology sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Target Group & Market Discovery
• Research and map out relevant industries, verticals, and market segments for Yodaplus offerings.
• Identify key decision-makers, influencers, and buying committees within target organisations.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging customer needs.
2. Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) Development
•Work with leadership to define, document, and continuously refine the Ideal Customer Profile.
•Validate the ICP through research, outreach feedback, and deal-cycle learnings.
•Map ICP attributes to specific Yodaplus products, services, and value propositions.
3. Outreach, Communication & Engagement
•Initiate personalised outreach via email, LinkedIn, calls, and other relevant channels.
•Craft clear, compelling messages that communicate Yodaplus's value to the right audience.
•Build and nurture relationships with prospects through consistent, professional engagement.
4. Sales Funnel Management
•Build and actively manage a structured sales funnel using CRM tools.
•Track lead stages, follow-up cadences, and conversion metrics on a regular basis.
•Keep pipeline data clean, updated, and actionable at all times.
5. Prospecting & Lead Generation
•Execute multi-channel prospecting campaigns to generate qualified leads.
•Qualify inbound and outbound leads against ICP criteria before advancing them.
•Collaborate with marketing on content, campaigns, and lead-gen initiatives.
6. Business Closing
•Drive prospect conversations from discovery through proposal, negotiation, and closure.
•Prepare and deliver clear, structured pitch materials and presentations.
•Work with internal teams to ensure smooth handoffs post-closure and client onboarding.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Must-Have Attributes
•Based in Mumbai. Graduate / Post Graduate from an International University
•Excellent written and verbal communication — clear, confident, and professional.
•Strong command of the English language; ability to write crisp, persuasive content.
•High emotional intelligence, good etiquette, and professional conduct in all interactions.
•Genuine interest and ambition to build a long-term career in Sales, Marketing, or Business Development.
•Sharp intellect — ability to understand complex products, ask good questions, and think on your feet.
•Self-motivated with a proactive, ownership-driven approach.
Good to Have
•0 to 1 year of experience in Sales, Business Development, or a client-facing role.
•Exposure to B2B sales, SaaS, or technology products is a plus.
•Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho) is an advantage.
•Understanding of LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other prospecting tools.
