Our client is one of the top 3 media companies in Thailand with a long history in news publishing. It operates one of the country's major Thailanguage news platforms with a good reach across both print and digital formats, offering news, features and other content to a broad domestic audience.
The business has a significant daily readership and plays a prominent role in the local media landscape.
Role Overview
They're looking for a sales lead to build and drive revenue growth across advertising products. You'll lead a team of sales/business development professionals, shape sales strategy, manage key accounts, and work closely with editorial and product teams to ensure commercial success.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and manage a sales team to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to media and advertising solutions across print and digital channels.
- Drive new business development and expand client relationships with agencies and brands.
- Own sales forecasting, pipeline tracking, and performance reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine offerings and pricing.
Candidate Profile
- 5-10 years of B2B sales experience with a strong record in media or advertising sales.
- 2+ years in a peopleleadership or team management role.
- Proven experience selling consultative solutions and managing complex B2B deals.
- Good understanding of media revenue models (print and digital) and agency/client buying cycles.
- Strong communication skills and comfort engaging senior stakeholders.
- Fluent Thai required; business English an advantage.
Preferred Background
- Sales leaders from media owners, publishers, digital media agencies, or advertising networks.
- Candidates from B2B sales environments (e.g., technology or SaaS) with consultative experience will also be considered.
