Sales Manager International Exhibitions
The Sales Manager will take ownership of international sales and key accounts, including direct engagement with senior decision-makers. The successful candidate is a highly driven hunter with strong industry connections and a proven ability to close complex deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive global exhibition space sales for assigned Koelnmesse shows, including THAIFEXHOREC Asia.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual targets for exhibitors, sponsors, and partners.
- Manage key international accounts, building relationships with decision-makers and delivering tailored solutions.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities within the HORECA industry and emerging markets.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to refine sales approaches.
- Plan and budget for promotional activities for all assigned shows in Germany and Asia-Pacific in coordination with the international sales network
- Monitor sales pipelines, payment status, and ensure timely revenue collection.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and market insights to the Project Director.
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of relevant sales experience, ideally in exhibitions or the hospitality/HORECA industry.
- Proven ability to independently manage key accounts and senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen with a consistent record of closing high-value deals.
- Excellent networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly driven, resilient, and results-focused with a strong hunter mentality.
- Proficient in MS Office; willing to travel locally and internationally.
