Senior Manager, Facilities (Healthcare) HJO

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities management operations across healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory, safety and operational requirements.
• Manage contractors and vendors for preventive, corrective and ad-hoc maintenance works.
• Lead budget planning, outsourcing, tendering, contract awards and facilities KPI management.
• Lead contract management activities and ensure vendors meet required service standards.
• Manage equipment licensing renewals and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead facilities development, renovation and upgrading projects from planning through completion.
• Ensure construction and upgrading activities are carried out safely with minimal disruption to healthcare operations.
• Manage project scope, timelines, risks, budgets and cost tracking.
• Prepare and review budget estimates, evaluation reports, progress reports and project documentation.
• Manage quotation and RFP exercises, including evaluation criteria, vendor assessment and award recommendations.
• Lead and engage internal stakeholders, contractors and vendors to ensure smooth facilities operations and project delivery.

Requirements

• Degree in Estate Management, Facilities Management, Building, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in building and facilities management.
• Experience managing healthcare facilities, infrastructure maintenance, contractors and facilities development projects.
• Electrical engineering or electrical facilities background will be advantageous.
• Exposure to Biomedical Engineering (BME) or medical equipment maintenance will be advantageous.
• Strong contract management, tendering, budgeting and vendor management experience.
• Strong leadership, decision-making and stakeholder management skills.
